Green Voodoo specialises in hand-played music: acoustic instruments, bands, live performances captured as they happen. Two studios to chose from, both acoustically treated — from a full band take to a single vocal or drum recording.

Oliver Jessen - Green Voodoo Music
Both sides of the desk — for over 30 years.
It all started in the ’90s — on both sides of the desk: as an artist with my own bands and projects some record deals, a songwriting contract with Universal Music Publishing, and at the same time as a producer in the studio.
That turned into a path through the whole industry: independent producer, A&R and product management at SPV and Foreign Media, then deep in digital marketing for the music and media business, including for Sony Music Entertainment Germany.
More than 30years on, the circle closes — with Green Voodoo I’m building my own studio, where I workas producer, mixer and engineer.
Focus: modern jazz and acoustic, hand-played music. I strongly believe a recording lasts and outlives its moment; it shouldn’t chase ashort-lived trend but sound independent and timeless.
What sets me apart from a pure engineer: I know both sides. I record your music — and Iknow how to get it to people afterwards. Marketing, release planning, career building aren’t an afterthought for me; they’re a second pillar
